Shirley and Wayne Englin purchased two homes from Brainerd Homes. First they bought a smaller home to put on a lake lot in Aitkin back in 2001. Shirley says they were so pleased with the experience that when they decided to retire to this area recently, they went back to the company to design their retirement home in Baxter.

They live off Cottage Grove Drive and Clearwater Road these days and Shirley says she loves her new home. Even she admits she can be a fussy customer. "Oh, I'm picky." she admits. She chose all of her own colors for the interior with some help from the female staff, even bringing in a swatch of material from her couch so she could order the carpet color to match. "The colors are just me," she says. "This feels like my home." The Englins feel the company 'bent over backwards' to make sure they were satisfied from start to finish, and they are. "We didn't know plumbers and electricians from this area," she said. "We knew them from where we came from. They set us up with great people." Favorite parts of her new home include the wood trim where the walls and ceilings meet, "even in the closets", she marvels. She loves their 30 x 15 foot family room that even came with surround sound. She says she opted out of a couple of interior doors for the home and decided instead to go with archways. She also changed some of the cupboard doors preferring solid doors over glass, and decided to pass on some of the built-in small appliances. "They did exactly what I wanted. Boy! We are 100% satisfied."

This was our third purchase from Brainerd Homes! That alone is testimony of our complete satisfaction with them! We have worked with Wes through each purchase. He has always been so helpful. We have recommended others to purchase at Brainerd Homes, also. Great organization from the first person to pick up the phone to the final sales! Thanks to all of you!

I just wanted to let you know how pleased I have been with your man, Jeff Miller. This past Saturday at 5 AM, one of the water lines burst a fitting and water was gushing out. I placed a call on your emergency line about 8 AM and Jeff called back in a matter of minutes. He arrived at my home in less than 90 minutes and fixed the problem in a short time.

His dedication to the customer and your company are exemplary. His response and attitude are a breath of fresh air to me. We moved to the Brainerd Lakes area a year ago and have had need for products and vendor service several times. Quite frankly, I had begun to think that businesses in this area were not really interested in getting and keeping customers. Our experience has been poor with 90% of them. Jeff has restored my belief that some people still take their obligations seriously. Please pass our sincere thanks to Jeff. In my opinion, he is a great asset to Brainerd Homes.

Just a note that we wanted to pass on...Please let the crew who placed our home on site know that we appreciate their concern with the problems encountered with the driveway and also that they were right back on the job when the problem was resolved.

We were impressed with the professional and confident answers they provided; it was apparent they have been with Brainerd Homes for some time. They were respectful of our lack of knowledge with this kind of home and no question was unanswered.

They cared that the home was placed accurately and that was very important to us...If you have incentive programs, please put them at the top of the list; they were great!!

We also wanted Schult homes to know that Jason and the other man who came in to inspect and fix some of the things were so nice; always careful with our personal things and wanted it to be perfect. They also were very knowledgeable in answering our questions.

We have a very steep hill on our lake property. We never thought we could ever bring a mobile home down that hill. We had Brainerd Homes look at it, and we were very pleased and surprised they could do it. Brainerd Homes has a crew of very professional movers. They were so wonderful and did a very nice job. Everything went absolutely perfectly! We got a great house at a super price. Had a salesman (a friend) help us through the purchase, setup, and inspection. We are so pleased with the Schult home we purchased. We wanted to help our son with his first home and checked out Brainerd Homes. Dave Pulju was so helpful and upfront about everything. We planned on having a smaller new home built for our "golden years" and one day, while driving by Brainerd Homes, decided to drop in and look at some of the homes for ideas, but never intended to go with a modular.

While looking, salesman, Dave Pulju approached us, being friendly, and showed us several homes, also answered a lot of questions. We, however, found that Wisconsin modulars had the quality that is very important to both of us & the Kolbe windows that we always planned on putting in the home, plus we were able to design it as we wanted. Before we knew it, we were designing our home and ordering it with the help of Dave all the way. He was just great, as are all the personnel there! Also, they were helpful in having excavators, plumbers, electricians, furnace people, & carpenters, if we wanted to use them, which makes all go really well. We did, however, have some of our own doing part of the work, but did find using their people made the building less stressful, as they did all the planning and calling!

Everyone we have had in our home remarks on the quality in it. At our age, we found this big project the perfect way to go as we never really felt stressed during all of it. We would do it this way again! THANK YOU DAVE AND BRAINERD HOMES!!!!!
